A Meaningful Field Trip to Holy Carabao Farm

An event that every child looks forward to in the year is the school field trip. The purpose of the I.D.E.A.S. field trip is to help the students deepen their understanding of the school year’s theme. Last school year, the field trip was held at the Holy Carabao Farm in Santa Rosa, Laguna where students learned more about living things, how different plants and animals are taken care of, and the unique traits in each of these living organisms. Students had the opportunity to get hands-on with soil, getting to understand what it takes to make soil healthy and ready for plant life to thrive in. They also witnessed the cycle in which these plants help animals as food and how these animals in turn help plants by providing them with fertilizer that helps them stay healthy.
